Founded in 2008, the Taiwanese American Federation - Greater Washington chapter is part of the nation's largest federated organization serving Taiwanese American communities. The mission of TAF-GW is to share, celebrate, and promote Taiwanese heritage and culture to create a more harmonious society. By sharing Taiwanese traditions of art, folklife, and cuisine, TAF-GW seeks to promote cultural, educational and social values and preserve the heritage and legacy of the Taiwanese American community, as represented in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.
